Bourette silk thread (also known as bourette silk) is a natural type of silk thread, made from the leftovers from the skein spinning process, when high-quality silk is spun. These yarns have a special uneven texture and matte surface.

Bourette silk threads allow the skin to breathe and perfectly absorb moisture. It is a great choice for summer wear as silk is cooling. Thanks to the silk protein the threads have excellent antibacterial properties

Bourette silk threads are extremely soft and pleasant to wear. Bourette silk threads retain heat, but do not allow overheating, so they can be worn on both cooler and warmer days. Bourette silk products are durable and wear-resistant and only soften over time.
